Default Shopping At Small Stores

Not long ago I had to run over to a little Convenient store in my little neighborhood to get some eggs.

I was completely shocked when I saw the price on them set at $2.79 per dozen. This is just horrible.

I thought that maybe there had been a problem with eggs or something that caused the prices to become so high, but when I went to do my regular grocery shopping I bought eggs for $1.49 which is a whole lot better than $3.00!!!

Most of these little convenient stores really mark up the prices of things to the point where most people can't afford them.

Have you every walked through a small store like this and seen things on the shelves coated in dust because they are purchased often. It is because the prices are just to high.

If you can hold off and get what you need when you do your regular shopping I would suggest that you do, because buying from these small stores at times can cost you double what you would normally pay.

The little food store jack up prices because they are for 1 small and are trying to compet with the larger food stores.

Frist they know that if they are placed closer the than the larger food stores that people have no choice but to buy.

Two when you run out of something and need it right then it would seem
to reason the they are closer then the larger store.

Third the price of gas as gotten out of site so to save they shop closer to home .

So we think we are saving but in the long run we are not.

And its not only the convenient stores that do this, some of the smaller grocery stores do the same thing.

At our local grocery store, I spend 3 to 4 times as much for the same products and amount of groceries that I would if I just took the time to drive up town and hit one of the larger stores.

Its just a fact of life that this is done and that is why I make one trip do it to save on gasoline, groceries and whatever else it is that I need. We have to cut corners wherever we can in order to make it these days.
