Default Summer Fun Expense Cuts

One thing I know that I can not stand to do is use the stove or the oven in the summer heat to make dinner.

This is where I always head outdoors and fire up the grill. I don't only cook burgers, hot dogs, steak or chicken on the grill. There are a large number of dinner dishes that you can make on a grill and this keeps you from heating up your already over heated home even more.

The microwave is of course another great tool to cooking with out heating up your home even more.

If you aren't able to come up with what to make for dinner on the grill simple check online. There are so many dishes to be made on a grill that you will surprise yourself over what you can do.

Another way to deal with keeping your home cooler in these hot summer days is to purchase heavy curtains for your home. The only problems with these is that they do also keep out the light. So place these heavy curtains over windows where the sun hits the most. This will help prevent your home from heating up even more.

These two tips will help keep you from having to run the air conditioners or fans more saving yourself on your electric bill.

This time of the year I cook everything from meats to breads on the grill,I even cook pizza on the grill.

Grilling is very good for you and is safe if you clean your grill very good before each use.I use lemon juice and ice chips while the grill is still hot.Along with this I use a grill brush and I alway heat the grill to five hundred degrees before I put food on to it.

i also at that point wipe off any reminants of any black burnt stuff with a wet napkin just before I place my food on the grill.

Another tip to help cut expenses during these hot summer days is to of course hang your laundry outside to dry.

The heat dries the clothes quickly and there is no need to run the dryer to dry everything and heat up your home even more.

Though I have heard a lot of people complain that when they hang their laundry up to dry outside that the clothes are stiff and scratchy. Well this is true though it is a very easy fix and it won't add a bunch of heat to the home.

Simply after washing the laundry toss the laundry into the dryer for about 5 minutes then take them outside to dry. This helps prevent them from getting stiff and scratchy out on the line.
