Default Thanksgiving Dinner Savings

Here is a great idea to help everyone save some money on the costs of Thanksgiving day dinner.

Instead of one person buying and cooking the entire dinner themselves, split up the dishes you want for your dinner and ask those joining you for dinner to bring one or two of those dishes so that everyone brings something and everyone has a great Thanksgiving day dinner with out having to deal with all of the spending, headache, prep and clean up.

This to me seems to be a great way to make sure everyone has a great dinner and still making sure that one person doesn't have to spend a month's wages trying to buy everything that is needed to make it truely a great feast.
