Default Winterize to Save

Checking your home for drafts before winter sets in is going to save you a good chunk of change when it comes to heating your home.

Also putting weather stripping around windows along with plastic to keep cold air out is a good idea especially if they are old windows.

Of course adding weather stripping around doors will also help to keep the bitter cold out of the house as well.

Checking around electrical outlets as well for cold air leaks. These should also be taken care of as well. The more cold air leaks you can stop in your home the better off your going to be when the utility bills roll in.

You also need to take care of yourself as well. Catching a cold means more money going out of pocket for doctors and perscriptions, or the use of OTC medicines.
