Default Best Buy is Working to Keep Stores Open

In our present economy, we've seen so many businesses go under. Many of them being stores that sold something other than groceries. Grocery stores seem to be doing okay simply because the consumer needs to eat, and therefore needs to buy groceries. Other stores are not faring so well, we've seen Circuit City cutting employees and closing stores. Furniture stores, car dealerships and many others have closed their doors.

What's different about Best Buy? What is this particular store doing to keep the customers coming in and buying?

Managers in the Best Buy stores are doing whatever they can to attract shoppers. Managers are also doing what they can to help employees stay alert and energized so they are able to give the customer good service. One Manhattan store put in a Red Bull vending machine for the employees to help keep them on their toes, during the Christmas shopping season.

Best Buy is cutting prices, but also cutting back on inventory and advertising. Also it's bringing in more exclusive products that can't be bought in other stores.

It's even adding new products and services that aim specifically at women. Some stores even have bottled water and treats for its customers' canine friends.
