Default BP Company Bullshit

Now I am hearing some mixed information about the mess in the ocean thanks to BP.

BP claims that now the leak has been stopped the oil which spilled out into the ocean is pretty much completely cleaned up already.

However on the other hand I am also hearing that it is going to take years to completely clean up the mess.

Personally I have to believe the second option, because an oil spill of that magnitude is not something that is going to be cleaned up in a matter of a couple of weeks.

I have to agree that it is going to take years to get it cleaned up, if not more. I mean there were millions of gallons of oil leaking out into the ocean and that is not something that is going to easily and quickly be cleaned up.

What are your thoughts on the clean up process?

Another problem I have about all of this is the fact that BP is planning on taking the cost of the clean up off their taxes, which means that it is going to of course fall on all of us to play for it all.

This is something that I stongly believe should not be allowed to happen. Why is it when a company makes such a huge mistake like this, it is us who ends up picking up the tab??? Personally I believe it is bullshit.
