Default Circuit City closing its doors.

After a long and arduous struggle to find a buy Circuit City has given up the fight. They will be liquidating all of their US stores. There are 567 of them total with somewhere around 30,000 employees all of whom will be laid off.

This is the secondl largest electronics retailer nationwide. I myself am getting very scared. There are more unemployed people now than I have ever seen.

We have so little to look forward too. I mean do we hold any hope of a bright future when tomorrow looks so bleak. How do you teach your children about being and adult and how to manage their money if they can't even find a part time job.

Just unbelievable. Circuit city shutting down is hitting home, we have so many of them here in ct. it gets scary when a place that is usually very stable, ends up giving up and closing its doors. Times are bad and i wish Obama all the luck he can get trying to fix this recession.

It is unbelievable when these businesses close their doors for the final time.

This country has been through many recessions and even an enormous depression and we've survived - so just hang in there and do the best you can - we'll make it again somehow.

The thing is, keep coming in here and reading all the ways you can save a couple of bucks - that really does add up over time and will help us all survive this economy.

It is aweful, Circuit City is or now was the closest electronic store in my area. This is where I always went for all of my electronics.

Plus all those people being laid off. Your right it is hard to see a silver lining when facing such a bleak future.

This recession is hitting us all hard and the punches just seem to keep rolling in. Our economy really needs a boost and fast.

Hope our new president has a plan to get things straightened out and back on track where it should be.

Don't count on that happening fast. It took us a few years to get this way, and it will take a few to get us out.
