Donations for Natural Disasters

I keep seeing people and businesses both making donations or collecting money for victims of natural disasters in other countries. What the hell about all the disasters that our own country has been hit with lately???

I'm sure that there are people collecting money and making donations to help out, but I have to say that the money going over seas to help others should have been kept here in our country to help victims get back on their feet BEFORE we worry about everyone else. I know some people were hit pretty hard before anything happened here in the US. However once disaster struck here those donations to other countries should have stopped!!!

I know that we depend on other countries for various things, but we really need to start putting this country and those who belong here before everyone else in the world.
