Default Ex Execs of Countrywide Sitting Pretty

I just read a couple of articles about the ex-executives of Countrywide Financial one of the banks that made the risky loans that helped to cause the fall of our economy. It seems that these people who made these bad decisions are now going to profit from the fiasco that they helped to cause.

Some of these ex-execs have been buying up delinquent home mortgages that the government had taken over from other banks. Some of these were bought for only pennies on the dollar. Now they will make a profit from what they can collect.

Personally, I don't think these men should have any money left to purchase anything. It's too bad that the government is allowing them to profit from the pain of the people that they helped to hurt in the first place.
