Default Getting the economy back on solid ground.

What will it take to get the economy on rise again? Will the newly proposed Stimulus Package do the job?

I dont think that the Stimulus package that is being offered right now will be the answer, it seems that somewhere along the line, we the American taxpayer are going to end up paying for this one too.

One would think that it would be more realistic to use those billions of dollars to create jobs for the hundreds of thousands of people that have been laid off. And to make it possible for other businesses not to have to resort to layoffs to even begin to keep afloat.

No, this mess didnt happen overnight, its been a long drawn out process, and it will be even longer before this situation has been rectified.

And with some states running out of unemployment funds, where will that leave the unemployed? Especially when so many programs that help those in need are running out of funding themselves.

Guess we better pull in our belts a couple more notches, cause this isnt over by a long shot.

You know what i don't understand? Why don't we just go print some new money and get our country out of debt? why can't they do that? i mean, its simple, easy and they make money anyway, why not get out of debt that way??
