Default GM Ditching the Pontiac

When you think of a Pontiac, what do you think? One of the first brands of muscle cars to be made. Well, now you you might think of them as simply something of the past because I just read that GM intends to drop the brand altogether. No more Pontiacs.

The official announcement should come on Monday from what I read. Gm's viability plan no longer includes the Pontiac. Its main four will be Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac. Who knows what will happen to GM's Saturn, Saab and Hummer.

I remember that my Grandma always drove a Pontiac. My grandpa worked for Pontiac so that of course was where they always purchased their vehicles. My Grandpa swore that was the best kind of car to own. It will be sad to see them go.

Well there goes another 21,000 US employees going to be out of work. I was reading about it also. Oh it just makes my heart hurt when I read stories like this one.

I also love the Pontiac. I own a Grand Prix and I love it. It is so sporty looking. I myself will miss it terribly.

It really does stink that more jobs are being cut! What are all those people going to do now?

As far as your car goes, treat her like a gem because she may be worth a lot of dough one day seeing as how no more Pontiac's are going to be made.
