Default Law suit against Wyeth

Diana Levine sued and won $6.7 million against Wyeth on Wednesday. She suffered from a migraine and she received a shot of Phenergan through a IV.

The Phenergan is used to treat nausea.

The company failed to warn the risk of the drug adequately. Due to the Phenergan, Diana lost her arm when gangrene set in.

Diana, before this happened loved music. She played the guitar, bass, piano, and wrote songs. She can no longer do any of that anymore.

Wyeth was upset over the decision due to the fact that they complied with the FDA on it’s labeling. Bert Rein was the attorney for Wyeth and Rein said that Wyeth was unable to change the label without FDA approval.
