Default Layoffs or Small Business Fails

These days, small business's all across the United States are having to make very tough choices. The economy is at a very bad point right now and small business's are really feeling the burden. They are having to let go many of their employees, many of which have become friends, to keep the business afloat.

Snall business's are the countries biggest employer. Companies with 500 workers or less are considered a small business. These business's pay almost 45% of America's payroll.

Last week, unemployment insurance claims hit a five year high.

Small business's have had to cut their inventory by a good margin and when thats not enough, they also have had to cut employees.

This is sad especially because so many of these small business's will have to close their doors because it is almost impossible for many of them to keep their heads above the water. It is also sad for those who depend on these jobs to pay for their homes and feed their children. This is a big concern for all of us.
