Default Local business closure still tentative.

I have been trying to keep up with a local plant for whom I used to work. I ran into another friend yesterday who filled me in.

She said that they will know by the end of Febuary if they still have jobs or not. It all rests on whether or not the business was sold.

If it was sold then they still have jobs. If not the company is going bankrupt. This doesn't surprise me as our plant meetings included financial information that just didn't add up.

It is sad to see so many jobs at risk but it was bound to happen. Automotive manufacturing is going down hill.
