Default Monthly fee dropped for Chase Credit Cards

New York state Attorney General, Andrew Cuomo has stongly urged JPMorgan Chase & Co to drop their $10 monthly fee imposed on Chase credit card holders and they have agreed.

The $10.00 fee was started in January and the company will be reimbursing cardholder's the amount of the fees they have paid up until now. It will amount to a total of $4.4 million dollars.

Of course there were many customer complaints about the flat $10 fee and so the Attorney General took action by demanding that the fee be stopped and that they reimburse the customers.

The company says they had decided to do away with the fee because of customer feedback.

At least someone is standing up for a change for the little guys..... us!

Default Re: Monthly fee dropped for Chase Credit Cards

Well thank god for small favors. Now if they could do something about the minimum payments and the finance charges we are set.

Many people are getting deeper in debt only because the now can't meet the minimum payment due. The finance charges that are added on keep us in debt.

We want to be able to use credit but the companies aren't making have a card through them worth the effort. They will eventually loose too many customers and regret all of it.
