Motorola cuts.

Motorola has decided due to the hard economy and its effect on its business to halt its matching of 401K's along with freezing its pensions plans.

They have also decided to reduce the salaries of two of its co cheif exec's. They will also be freezing the salaries of an unspecified amount of employees.

It doesn't surprise me that they would do this right now. I am happy however that this is just a freeze and not a bunch of layoffs again. There are already to many unemployed people and we don't need any more to be laid off.
