Default Peanut Company Going Bankrupt

The peanut company who was responsible for the major salmonella outbreak is filing chapter 7 liquidation bankruptcy.

The company in Lynchburg, VA has filed the paperwork in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the Western District of Virginia.

Bacteria had been found at the company's Blakely, Ga., peanut processing plant. This has been the cause of more than 800 salmonella cases and nine deaths.

The Texas Health Department found dead rodents, rodent excrement and bird feathers in the plant. How gross is that!!

These incidents are said to be the cause of them filing for bankruptcy.
