Default Shopping sales going up?

According to reports, holiday shopping has improved significantly, but then you have to take into consideration that stores have had to lower prices to bring in shoppers.

This seasons shopping is expected to be the lowest in decades, with siginificant job losses, and the economy being in such a turmoil, people just arent parting with their money like they used to.

The day after Thanksgiving found sales rising 3 %. But this may not continue for the Christmas shopping season according to the experts.

The fact that there are only 27 days between the day after Thanksgiving sales and Christmas and the fact that there were 32 days between Black Friday and Christmas last year will also have a bearing because of the shorter buying season.

There have been many price cuts and a lot of coupons sent out that will help buyers save money and perhaps stimulate more buying.

This will be a skimpy holiday for a lot of people across our country though, simply because of all of the job losses.

Default Re: Shopping sales going up?

Too many people are out of work or have had their hours cut and just can't afford to spend like they normally do. Others are worried about their job security and will be saving what money they can. It is understandable.
