Default States and the Stimulus.

With the economy being what it is, there are many layoffs, but states arent laying off or cutting salaries as is happening in the private sector.

In fact, some states are going to use the stimulus money to help keep employees. This will be very helpful as a cut in state employees means things wont get done in a timely manner, if at all.

When the states' govenors meet in Washington this weekend, discussions will be made about the many problems the states are facing due to the economy.

In California, 20,000 layoffs happened this week and Govenor Schwarzeneger ordered all employees to take of two unpaid days per month.

Also because of the present economy, road work has been severly lacking in our area. We have one pot hole that could actually ruin your car as it is a foot wide and 5 inches deep. And this is becoming a very common occurence lately.

There are trees that are falling on the roadway and before, you could call to have them removed before they actually fell, now you have to wait for them to fall to be removed.
