Default Stocks fall after drop in retail

A late day slide left stocks lower on Thursday following a disappointing forecast from department store chain Kohl's and a drop in their financial shares..

The Dow Jones average, ended down at about 114 points after shooting up by nearly 149 on Wednesday. Stocks mostly made modest moves for much of Thursday's trading but fell in the final hour. The drop signaled that traders remain on edge and not sure about the market's direction.

I work in a deparment store myself, it has been a very slow week for us, the first week of the month it was booming, but now noone is shopping, and the ones who are shopping is not buyimg much.

Everyone has to watch their spending right now. Of course some department stores still sell their items for high prices which means that people can't afford to spend much. Not to mention that there are a lot of stores and other places to purchase items that your wanting or needing and save yourself money.

That is the kind of shopping a lot of people are doing now days. I would much rather head out to places like the Good Will or Flea Markets to get the things I want. I save myself a good bit of money by doing this.

Of course yard sales are another way that I do my shopping and save myself money.
