Today's Commercial's

I know that most people completely ignore commercials while watching tv. I know that most of the time I do, and pretty much everyone I know does the same thing.

I know that companies spend billions of dollars every year on these advertisements.

Now granted some of them are so far out there that you can't forget them after seeing them once. Then again there are others that are enough to make a person sick, yet again you tend to remember them.

Personally I strongly believe that these companies who spend so much money on advertisements by hiring singers and actors to sell their products or what ever could use that money for much better uses.

I mean the money they spend to hire these actors and singers to promote their products in commercials is most likely more than needed. I would much rather like to see every day people in these commercials and the money saved could be put to increaseing pays for the hard workers, put into the effort to go green and maybe even some charities which are in need.

What do you personally think about all of this?
