Default 4th of July Celebrations

This crazy economy has all of us down in the dumps but it is still important to find a way to get together with family and friends and have a little fun. The 4th of July is a great time to do just that!

No, you don't need to run to the store and buy all of the ingredients to prepare a meal fit for kings. Why not just ask everyone to bring a covered dish? People really don't mind throwing something together and helping out. It is a great chance for everyone to prepare their favorite dish and share it with others.

This is something that we do every 4th of July. The whole family gets together and we cook out, let off fireworks and we just have a great time.

The kids all run around and play. They get into the creek and usually have mud up to their ears by the end of the night but thats ok, thats what it is all about! lol.

What are your plans for the 4th?

Default Re: 4th of July Celebrations

Well our dinner for the 4th of July wasnt anything special. We simply made burgers and hot dogs and had some salad.

We didnt go all out this year because two of the three kids had other plans.

Though we did all make sure that we were all together, so that we could enjoy the fireworks.

That was the best part of the day. Dont get me wrong the fireworks were nice and all, but to me it was really nice just having everyone together.

I hope everyone had a great 4th of July and that everyone stayed safe!!
