Default Are our worries over?

I don't believe that our worries are over yet. I do see that the price of gasoline has fallen from an average of 4 plus to about 2.49. This is a beginning but it isn't quite enough.

Banks are still foreclosing on homes and people are still fighting to keep or find jobs. The state of our economy has not improved. The economic bailout plan was a joke as far as I am concerned. The banks used the money just as I see politicians using our tax dollars. They went out and had a good time at our expense.

How can they just hand out money like that and not put some limitations on how they may spend it. It is utterly ridiculous and then to think the chump change that they sent us in the form of stimulus checks are something we will in all likelihood have to pay back.

Default Re: Are our worries over?

I don't believe we are going to be out of the woods for quite some time yet as far as finances go. Yes, gas has come down quite a bit. In my area it dropped today down to $2.57 a gallon. Food costs are still up though as are household staples such as shampoos, cleaning products and so on. I work in a store and we have had to continully raise prices. (not our choice to do) We are getting nickel and dimed to death.
