Default Automakers affecting economy.

Are the automakers affecting the economy? Yes as far as I am concerned.
The problems that the automakers are having stem from a poor economic outlook.

With Ford and GM both reporting money problems and now cutting employees it all looks to get worse. The state of Michigan has long relied on the automaking industry for its income and for jobs.

GM is to cut some 700 positions. This will make it even harder to find gainful employment in this great state. We must do something quickly if we are to survive much more of this economic downturn.
