Default Cave Home

A family might be forced to sell the cave home they live in. They bought it about 5 years ago the took out a balloon note and in May the loan will balloon. When they bought the cave, they had no idea our economy would wind up like this when the note was due.

They are working on ways to keep it now, but they are running out of time. The home has an amazing 17,000 sq foot area of living space.
The home is located in Festus, Missouri and has been approved for living in May 19th 2008.

This place is amazing, i really do hope there is a way for this family to be able to keep it. They have worked really hard on it and they just had another baby, (borne in the cave).

They have it up for bids on ebay now. They are starting the bid at $300,000. But the dream is for them to keep it. If they come up with the money to pay it off, they will. If not, the sale will go through possibly on ebay.

How sad. Too work that hard to build something that you call home, and then be on the verge of losing it because our government can't get there crap together, so many people are in the same boat, and its not fair, not fair at all.

I hope they find a way to keep thier home also.
