Default China passenger car sales up 55 % in February

China's passenger car sales went up 55% from a year earlier in February, even with a long national holiday, a strong demand for smaller cars and sport utility vehicles, an industry group reported on Tuesday.

Sales of cars, and SUVs went up to 942,900 units, while sales of all vehicles including trucks and buses went up 46% year on year to 1.21 million, according to the government-affiliated China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.

Is this all saying things are looking up? It looks like it when you see stuff like this.
