Debt Ceiling

What are everyones thoughts here about the idea of raising the debt ceiling?

Personally I think it is just another scare tactic by the goverment to get everyone to let them do as they please with this country.

There are to many people who depend on social security to pay for bills, perscriptions, groceries, transportation, doctors and everything else in life. If those checks stop coming these people are going to be in a horrible mess and it isn't right.

The thought of that is scary for everyone which is why they are using it as a scare tactic to make sure that the debt ceiling is raised to their liking.

It is all a bunch of bullshit but they know they will get away with it which is why they do it in the first place. If our government actually stopped and took a good look at what they are doing and have done to this country already I think that they would stop and start making things right instead of worse.

I think our government likes to scare us, why? I do not know I guess they think it keeps us in line.

Exactly, they want to keep us scared because when we are scared we are more willing to play follow the leader and allow them to do what they want to "make things right". Though we all know and have seen many times over that their idea of making things right normally means that most of us are getting screwed a little more.

Everyone in power in this country has learned that keeping the people either scared or blind is the best way to get what they want and they do these things constantly.

This is why everyone who is in power right now needs booted the hell out so that people who care and will seriously honor the founding ideas of this country and get things set right again.
