Default Did the Economic Crisis Help Obama?

Experts say the answer to whether or not the economic crisis helped Obama win the presidential election is yes.

Fourteen months ago Barack Obama scolded Wall Street for always going for the quick kill which was a big part in the start-up of the economic crisis.

During the entire summer of campaigning of Barack Obama and John McCain they were running neck and neck in the polls. However on September 17, just two days after the Dow Jones plummeted 300 on news that Lehman Brothers was declaring bankruptcy and insurance giant AIG was on the brink, Obama's lead began to substantiate. The deeper the crisis became, the bigger the lead he had.

Obama benefitted because the crisis began right under the noses of the republicans while they were on duty. Voters turned to Obama, a democrat, hoping he can solve the problems we are facing.
