Default Michigan unemployment.

Michigan unemployment hit a little over 12% today. We aren't seeing jobs here yet. It is a shame and many will soon be running out of unemployment benifits.

A local company was just given tax incentives to build jobs. The problem is that before this company bought the former owners out it was one of the biggest employers in our county.

People just don't have time to wait for the jobs to get here. It will take time for this company to get all of the contracts and machinery that it needs to rehire the folks who lost their jobs.

What do they do in the mean time. Their bills have to be paid and food put on the table. There is little in the way of help at the state and federal level and I am afraid to see what is going to happen.
