Default State of the Union Address

Today President Barack Obama made his 2011 State of the Union address. I missed it because I was at work but I read about it in pretty good detail.

It seems that it was a bit dissapointing. He talked a lot about needing to get out of debt but he offered no real comprehensive way to do that.

I hear that he talked a good game but thats about it.

The made comments on the direction he wishes for congress to take but nothing very definitive.

Right now, we need more from our President. Our country is in bad shape and what we need is some one who can say "This is how we are going to fix it".

If I wanted someone to blow smoke up my booty then thats what I woulda asked for! This other "make eloquent speeches" just isn't cutting it for me. I want to know this is the plan. This is how we will create jobs. This is how we will wipe out the national debt. I'm not getting anything real from his speech. Just a bunch of words strung together that are supposed to appease us all. Sorry, not working for me!

I know what ya mean. It seems like our country is falling apart here at home and yet we make all other countries better.

I am all for helping others but I do believe that we need to help ourselves first.

We have orphaned children and yet it's seems to be easier for an American to adopt an overseas child. Why?

We have people living under bridges and on park benches, pulling newspapers from the trash to use as blankets. We build housing everyday for other countries. Why?

We have people who have no food to eat. No food. Yet we donate everyday to other countries to keep them fed. Why?

I don't understand what has happened to us as a country and yet we are all to blame for letting it happen. We need to figure out how to turn this thing around or America will not be as it was ever again. What a terrible prospect.

All I heard was a bunch of words that when you put them all together dont mean a darned thing.

He was talking about making jobs. Ok, how is he going to do that? And why is it that illegals can come into this country and find jobs but our own people are in the unemployment line.

As far as the national debt is concerned, its never going to go away. At any rate, as I see it, the State of the Uniion Sucks.
