Default Swine Flu May Hurt the Economy

This is about the last thing we need right now. I just read about how analysts are saying that if the Swine Flu spreads rapidly it will be a back breaker for the economy. Global trading will fall flat and the recession will go deeper than it has been yet.

If we see a large scale pandemic with the Swine flu, much bigger export restrictions will fall into place and global trade will be disrupted.

It may even effect travel. More restrictions will be placed on goods and people.

James Auger, senior analyst, North America, with IHS Global Insight, a global economic research and forecasting firm says that it only takes a little bad news for things to change rapidly. For me, this isn't little bad news either. This flku is serious and it may have a very bad effect on us not only health wise but economically as well.

Default Re: Swine Flu May Hurt the Economy

I just read another article about this swine Flu on Fox news.com. Wow, what a scary thing this is and it is spreading fast!

There are now more than 100 confirmed cases of this dangerous strain of flu in people in the United States and they suspect of a lot more. One child has died in the United States of the flu already.

More than 100 schools had to be shut down and in California, Marines had to be confined after one of them was confirmed to have the flu.

In ten states so far the Swine flu has been confirmed. Those states are in New York, Texas, California, Kansas, Massachusetts , Michigan, Arizona, Indiana, Nevada and Ohio.

My daughter just told me that in Mexico they have completely sold out of the masks that everyone is wearing to try and keep from getting the flu!

Right now it seems that if someone drops a pin somewhere it is going to somehow cause damage to our economy!!

Though this swine flu is said to be quite serious, and I did see people in a few areas wearing masks in attempt to keep themselves from contracting this flu.

I know that I would be also, because I sure dont want it.
