Default The job market.

The number of people, last week, that were signing up for unemployment benefits, hit a the highest rate in 26 years. And with more layoffs and job losses everyday, it will be years before the job market recovers.

It is said that about 2 million jobs are being shed every two months, and new reports on the job situation may see that 500,000 jobs were lost in January.

The layoffs are hitting every sector of the job area. It isnt just banking, housing, and automotive any longer. Jobs everywhere are being lost.

I have been telling everyone, whether you like your job or not you better do whatever you can to hang onto it right now. Don't think the grass is greener on the other side because you just might find out there isn't any grass over there after all.

I hear what you are saying many are traveling to find jobs now. I heard our governor saying that there are jobs being added and just can't see that there are enough for all of the people who are out of work.

Second of all who is going to travel a hundred miles one way for a job. This is what one would have to do as you cant afford to move and a hotel would eat up the money you earned.

We really need some help and some answers and they can send us money but they are gonna have to make it alot if they intend to send it once this year.
