Default The Local Economy

I don't understand how some people are going to survive here in my area. There are so many jobs lost already, and more will be lost in the near future as more businesses shut down.

Now I'm seeing that rents are being raised in my town. I realize the landlords are also having a tough time of it as we all are, but how on earth do they expect people to pay higher rents with less cash in their pockets and bank accounts?

I see this type of move as hurting the economy even more than it already is.......renters will have to pay the higher rents just to keep a roof over their heads and they will not be able to purchase other needed things. So less money will be spent and the economy goes further in the hole.

I know what you mean it is crazy to think that people would ask for more knowing people have less.

GM has announced it will be offering buyouts to its employees. They are cutting more jobs as if they haven't cut enough already.

You can't even find an decent part time job anymore. There are more and more homeless people. I just saw a man the other night with a tent and backpack walking down a side road in town. It is freezing out there and there is no tent in the world that can keep the cold out.

We need help here. Something has to break before we all do.
