Default Unemployment figures.

Everytime you turn around there is a new report on unemployment. They are never of the same opinion.

One will say that unemployment is down and the next day another will say that figures are higher than expected.

I think this is due to speculation and not fact. Some of these reports are made before they have the real statistics in hand. I think they should just wait for the information.

Speculation has caused many problems with the stock market and the economy. Economically speaking we need cold hard facts not someone elses best guess.

Default Re: Unemployment figures.

I agree, I want the truth whether it is good or bad. Don't tell me what you think... tell me what you know!

In either case, unemployment is high right now whether the figures are what they say they are or not. I know where I live, people are looking for just about any kind of job they can find. I have several friends who cannot find work right now. Times are bad. I sure hope things look better soon!
