Default Unemployment woes.

In 2008, there were 2.9 million people unemployed, and more layoffs everyday.

Intel will be laying off thousands, so will Microsoft, and many business are closing their doors for good, leaving even more people unemployed.

Here in Ohio, we have run out of unemployment funds and the state has had to borrow money in order to make the unemployment payments.

There are several other states with the same problem. Michigan and South Carolina are also facing unemployment payment problems as they are also running low on money.

Where are the jobs? When will someone do something about the lack of jobs and the rate of unemployment. We need jobs, people need to make money in order to pay their bills and keep their homes, but theres no end in sight to record unemployment that is happening these days.

Default Re: Unemployment woes.

I know that in my area there are no jobs to be had, and some businesses are being forced to close their doors which means even more people job hunting.
Its horrible knowing that there are no jobs, few people with an income, most being forced to collect unemployment and knowing that the state has had to borrow money to make those unemployment payments.
Your right Moneysense, there is no end in site to this horror we are all living in, though surely something good has to happen soon. At least I am hopeful that something good will happen soon, we all could use a bit of good news when it comes to jobs and income.
