Default Car Windsheild

I just got off the phone with my other half, I guess last night while he was driving to work he ended up behind a semi and well his windsheild ended up getting cracked because of a rock.

I asked him if he got the license plate number off the truck but he didn't. This means that he is gonna have to pay for this one himself because I don't think his insurance is going to cover it.

Especially since just last year they had to pay for many repairs on his car after he struck a deer.

I guess the cracks aren't to bad, but eventually they will get worse. Til he can get it fixed I told him to paint the areas with clear nail polish to help it last a bit longer. He did this and was surprised that you can't even tell its been painted.

Thank heavens for knows some small tricks like this.

There is a great repair kit sold that you do yourself it is very easy and it works for small chips only, it will keep it from spreading that is a good thing it costs about 10.00 at auto repair stores, such as auto zone.

Well clear nail polish will keep it from getting any worse, though if this were to fill in the chip to more or less make it disappear then it would be well worth picking up.

Thanks for the tip I will look into it.
