Health insurance is something we all have or should have. Using it seems realitively easy. You just show them your card and pay your copay.

Understanding your insurance is a whole different matter. We did not get the eye insurance or the dental portion when we purchased this insurance.

We thought that we would have to pay the entire amount on either visit and whatever we needed. We were wrong at least with the eye portion.

The insurance covers 70 percent of the exam and the glasses or contacts. I was pleasently surprised as was my husband. It pays to thouroughly read the information that you get when you are going to purchase health insurance.

Some surprises aren't this nice and are quite costly in fact.
