Default Home Owner's Insurance

WIth all of the natural disasters that have been happening all over the world, it has me a little worried at what could possibly happen in my little corner of the world.

Where I live we seem to be getting several mud/rock slides, flooding and even a couple of tornados. This all got me getting into my important documents and checking out insurances to make sure that I am covered in case anything like that happens to me.

It looks like I am decently covered but I am thinking that if things are only going to get worse maybe I should up my insurance coverage. I hate to do that because it really isn't in the budget but it is better to do that than try to replace everything out of pocket should something happen.

I also have a few friends thinking the exact same thing and they are now wanting me to help them look into their insurance's and make sure that they are covered and possibly increasing theirs as well.
