Insurance Importance

I can not really say how important it is to have insurance. Again I am thankful I went through my sweeties insurance and got things straightened out and made sure that he had the insurance that he not only needed but wanted as well.

Anyway we did this about 4 months ago and last night after he had gone to work the winds picked up and apparently a branch from a dead tree behind his house broke off and hit the house.

There are two broken windows now and of course a huge hole in the roof of his house.

Mind you this all happened some time during the night. After work he picked me up and we headed to his place. We both noticed the damage as soon as we pulled in.

He contacted his insurance company and an agent has just left after taking pictures of the damage, asking some questions and making a few phone calls.

There is now a contractor on his way over here to access the damage and what it will take to repair it and see what materials will be needed.

I am so very glad that we checked out his insurance and got it all to the point where he was covered and things would be taken care of easily.
