Default Personal Items On Insurance

I just found out something interesting today. The new furniture that my Sweetie just bought as well as his bedroom set and his new laptop computer were not covered by his insurance.

After getting this stuff he didn't bother calling his insurance agent and informing them of his new purchases.

Right away when I found this out I made him call and get it added and taken care of. Now he only bought this stuff just over a month ago though if something were to have happened like a fire or theft or something then he would not have gotten anything and this would have been a total loss on his part, and that is a lot of money to waste.

I explained all of this to him, so hopefully it won't happen again. He didn't like the idea of having to replace everything out of his pocket again.

Making sure that all of your belongings are kept track of and are on your insurance is important. Your insurance is one thing that you have to keep on top of just in case something happens.

Hopfully nothing bad ever happens but you just never know.
