I live in an apartment and it's mandatory to have renters insurance. I just chose one with the agent from State Farm that was recommended by the apartment, however after reading your post I think I'll check around to see if I can get a better quote. I'll have to check with my agent if I choose to switch if I will be reimbursed any money as I make a lump annual payment.
