Default Renters Insurance

There are a lot of people in this country that rent. I was at one time a renter as well. What most renters don't know is that they need renters insurance.

Most home owners insure their homes, but not the contents in the house and that means should there be a fire, flood or any other disaster a renters property is not covered and there for they are at a complete loss.

This is why renters insurance is a must for anyone paying to rent a home. It is the only way to make sure that a renters property is taken care of just in case of an emergency.

A study was done several years ago that I read that most people who rent don't even know that there is such a thing as renters insurance. I didn't know about it until I got my first apartment to be honest. The landlord informed me I needed this insurance because my property wasn't included in his insurance.

Right there is when I learned about this insurance and the need for it. I have never had to use it thankfully, but I always had it just in case. I had some great landlords back then.

This can be cheap if you add it with your auto insurance, for me it was only 12 a month to add it, for 20,000 coverage, it was a steal for us.

That is quite a good deal. Though does it cover replacement of everything that you lose heaven forbid something happens?

That is where most insurance get their customers. They only cover a portion of your lost itmes in a disaster. That is something you really should look into because it is always better to make sure that you get replacement costs, as then you won't have to nearly as much to worry about.

I have researched insurances for a few people over the years and I have to admit that most of the time the idea of bundling insurances with one company is a good way to get the coverage ya want while saving money at the same time.
