Default Residential Service Plan

I remember seeing a commerical a short time ago about an insurance that a person could get for things in their homes. Things like air conditioning, fridge, stove, wiring, plumbing, furnance and more. If I remember the commerical correctly the items covered on the insurance were fixed right away.

With my other half making plans on doing so much work to his home and getting things finally taken care of I was thinking that this might be an insurance that he needs to get.

I am wondering if anyone here has heard of residential service plans or maybe even has it??

I would love to learn more about it, but for some reason I am not finding what I am looking for when I do a search on it.

If anyone could help on this I sure would appreciate it!!! Just so you all know I could be wrong on what it was called but I am pretty sure it was called a residential service plan.

I am not sure that I have heard of this before. Sounds interesting though and I wonder what the rates for such a thing might be. Gonna have to check around and see whats available. Thanks for bringing it up now I have and idea of how to protect some of the stuff I have in my home.

The commerical really sounded amazing. Especially for those in this world who aren't handy with tools like my other half.

Though I seriously wish I could remember more about it or where to locate more information about it!!!

I do believe that this is something that my other half should have to make sure that if anything goes wrong in his home he would easily have it repaired with out trying to find someone to do it.

If you happen to find information on this insurance plan please share it, because I would really like to look into it more and possible make him get it to save myself the headache of taking care of this stuff for hime all of the time,.

A residential service company offers home warranty contracts to maintain, repair or replace all or any part of the appliances, structural components, electrical, plumbing, heating, or air conditioning systems of residential property. A residential service contract traditionally offers a home warranty to the buyer or seller of an existing home in conjunction with the sale or purchase of the property (usually for a term of one-year). The real estate broker or salesperson acts as an agent of the residential service company in presenting the warranty to the buyer or seller.
This was a thing that I found that speaks of the type of plan your talking about. It looks as if this is something you would get when you buy a home. I am wondering however if you could purchase something like this through your homeowners insurance provider. If so that would be wonderful. Worth checking into thats for sure.

Yeah I don't remember anything in the commerical about buying a home. I know we arent going to just go out and buy another place just to get this. I will have to contact the insurance company and see if I can get something like this.

The only thing I hate about contact any one in the insurance business is that after discussing what it is that you want, they ALWAYS try to sell you stuff you don't want or need. Guess that is what they get paid for though, but still it can be rather annoying.
