Default WooHooo A New Roof And Gutters

YEAH!!! I am so happy. The insurance company is going to cover most of the costs to replace the gutters and the roof of the house. Though the deductable will have to be paid but that is a whole lot better than forking over the cost of everything.

The bad thing is that it will still be a month or so before we can get the work started, but that is alright with me. It has lasted this long so far through some bad winters, so another month should be alright. Cross your fingers for us.

This will be one project that will soon be off the must be done list.

This is good news and I am glad that you checked with the insurance company first as some of the wind damage we had was probably the cause of the roof and gutter problems you are having and most likely the reason that the insurance company picked up the tab on the repairs.

Having to pay the deductible is sometimes costly but still, as you said, it is much better than having to pay the whole and total cost of having these repairs done because it would cost a pretty penny to have this type of work done and then have to pay for the whole thing.

To get all of the work done on the roof and the new gutters is going to cost the insurance company a few thousand dollars. The deductable that has to be paid is only $500.00!

So we are saving a good deal of money on all of this thankfully. I seriously didn't want to end up putting all of that money into the house out of pocket, then again I don't know who would really.
