Gas Company Investing

I wonder if now would be a good time to invest in the gas companies, I mean they seem to be doing some great business right now with their prices being so damn high that people almost need a bank loan to fill up their gas tanks.

I don't know how on earth owners of those big trucks and H3's are able to do it!!

Any way I know a couple of friends who are and have already invested in these companies. I hope that they do well but it isn't something I would personally get into myself.

I still have to many other things to worry about other than investing. Have any of you invested in gas companies in any way? If you have how have your investments been doing as of lately??
