Default Money Gifts

When it comes to Christmas or Birthdays some people don't know what to get for people so they often just give money.

This happens to me a good bit, so this year I have decided to put that money to good use (hopefully). I am planning on taking the money I get for Christmas as well as my birthday and invest it in hopefully something that will pay off well later on.

Everyone has been holding onto their money because of the economic status of this country and investments have dropped. I know I haven't invested for that very reason.

Though I think it is about time to get back into the game, now I just have to do a little bit of work and get prepared for what I want to invest in and of course see just how much I am going to have to work with as well.

This is the perfect time of year to be thinking about next years holiday season. Its the best time to start a christmas club account.

Perhaps maybe a savings account instead if you aren't in the position to make weekly payments on a christmas club. Either way you will have money saved and be earning intrest while it sits there.

Whatever the intention you will have some money just in case things take a wrong turn at any point during the year.

It's not easy to invest money. There are always risks and you just never know what is going to happen.

One rule of mine is never tell anyone what is good to invest in, because I could be wrong and I would rather avoid being blamed for a failure.

I will say that if your interested in getting into investing your money, then I have to suggest that you do your homework!!

A while ago I posted a couple of videos that might help you to get started on the road to investing your money.

Investing Videos

I will say one thing. If you feel uncomfortable about investing in something, then trust your gut feeling. Everyone prefers to invest in different things which is another reason I won't specify anything. What I like to invest in, you may not so it is best that you do the research and find what your comfortable with.
