Default A Kitchen Sink

Last night our son discovered a small flood in his bedroom. Upon inspection shutting the water off in the house, alot of clean up and an inspection, we discovered that a pipe under our kitchen sink had busted.

We also found out that a portion of the back of kitchen sink had completely rusted away. Granted this sink has been in this house for around 50 years or so. It was quite old, so while fixing the broken pipe we decided to replace the sink.

The sink is still good, though we just dont want to wait again for more problems to arise, so replacing it was the best idea.

We went shopping for a new sink, and we were both pretty shocked at how much some of these sinks were. We really didnt want to spend $600.00 or more for a new sink.

Right now $600.00 is a whole lot of money, at least to us it is. Though thankfully we did a little shopping around and were able to find an even better sink (at least one we liked even more), and it was only going to cost us $250.00.

It really does pay to shop around a little bit rather than just pick a store and pay out what ever the costs for the things you need are.

Now we have new pipes under the sink and a nice new sink. Makes me want to use the sink to wash the dishes rather than the dish washer,LOL.
