Default A New Fridge

Yesterday Rob and I went shopping for some things we needed for the house at Lowe's.

I have been wearing him down about a new refrigerator for a few months. I really wanted one with an ice maker. Everyone here loves ice in their drinks and we were always buying bags of ice.

Yeah I know ice cube trays would have been cheaper, but seems that no one in the house knows how to fill one execpt for me. So that plan of action flopped quickly.

Any way back to my story. While we were shopping I saw a refrigerator that was $718.00. Granted that is alot of money to spend but it was very nice and it would match our stove and dish washer and it had both ice maker and water dispenser.

Another reason I wanted a new fridge was because a couple of shelves in the one we have are broken and cant be used unless you want a few broken toes, and the seal around the doors is wearing out.

Well he looked at it then started looking at others. He found one that has the freezer on the bottem like a big drawer and the fridge on top with double doors. It didnt have a water despenser but it did have an ice maker. Only problem is, this one cost $1,200.

Best you will never guess which one he purchased?? Yep you got it. He bought the more expensive one. I know its going to be nice having a new refrigerator, but the less expensive one would have been just fine for us.

Oh well it, I guess we will just have to tighten up the belts a bit more to afford this one.LOL.

The old one I am not sure what we are going to be doing with it. Though it would come in handy when it comes to storing drinks and things when family comes to visit.

Well it may have cost you more now but I am sure that due to the fact that is more expensive it is a better one.

The energy rating is probably great. You will probably notice that there is less chance of broken shelves. Check out how the are made compared to the old one.

My fridge has the same problem and it has plastic mounts for the shelves and drawers. These break easily and are difficult to find and replace. Congrats.

Now that you mentioned the energy star rating, I know that we could possibly get a tax deduction on the purchase of this fridge because it is energy efficient.

I dont know why I didnt think of this before. Maybe getting this one is going to be helpful in the end after all,LOL.
