Default A New Roof

Even the smaller things needed in life seem to becoming a major purchase these days. Though a seriously needed major purchase is a new roof.

I guess last night/early morning a leak started in my sweeties kitchen. I was afraid that he was going to need a new roof put on his place because the old one just looks crappy.

Now there is no question that he is going to need to get it fixed and fixed fast.I guess there is already a huge water mark on the ceiling and all of that is going to need to be replaced as well. I am going to now have to find someone to come out and work on the roof and get it repaired before all of this gets even worse.

I am worried what this is going to cost to get taken care of!! I guess we won't be taking a trip this Spring!! Looks like the vacation money is all going into the house!

What a nighmare that can be unless he has someone to help him do the work himself. It can be expensive. It also depends on the size of the roof of course. If he has some help it won't be too bad. If he has to hire someone, it will be kind of expensive.

The roof is what protects the entire house though so it is important to get it fixed asap.

Oh he will have to hire someone to do the work. He knows nothing about construction and I sure ain't getting up on a roof to do it. This is going to be a job for a professional and that means expensive!!!

Today he had to call and get the basement pumped out because it is holding about 6 inches of water. The fire department is pumping the water out as I type. Hopefully they will be done soon and it won't flood again. This is another problem that has to be addressed very soon in this house. I can not believe that the realtor didn't mention that the basement floods BEFORE he bought the housed!!!

Since I do know the area in which you live, if you want great, honest, and dependable help in getting the roof done, call Trigg Contracting.

We have used this contracting company many times and their prices are great, the guys that work there do fantastic work, they are fast and dependable.

Now, another thing you need to look into is whether or not that hail storm we had in this area was the cause of the damage. If it was, you can turn it into your insurance company and they will pay for the new roof with a little cash out of pocket.

Be sure to ask the contractor if this is what happened and if it was, find out how to turn it into the insurance company and what all you have to do in order to get it paid for.

Thanks for all the information!! I will give Trigg Contracting a call and see what happens.

I will also be sure to find out if hail could have been the cause of this problem. It is probably wrong for me to say this but I hope it was and that his insurance will cover the costs.

I know it can be expensive to get a roof done and that has us both worried, and of course trying to find a contractor who will do the work, do it quickly and does honest work is the problem.

Guess we will find out soon. This really needs to be taken care of before it rains again, but we all know that isn't going to happen because it is going to be raining again tomorrow.
