Always Purchase Extended Service Plans

One of the things I have learned in life is to always purchase the extended warranty or service plan whenever you buy something expensive! I am so glad that I do!

My daughter (she's 17 years old) called me at work the other day. She said she turned the oven on and was allowing it to preheat so she could bake a pizza. She started to walk away from the oven when she noticed that it appeared to be glowing inside. She opened the oven door and there was a small fire coming from the element. She turned the oven off and just watched it til it went out.

Well lo and behold I just bought the darn thing a year ago! But when I did I bought the extended service plan! Yay for me lol!

So Sears is sending a tech to get it fixed right away at no cost to me! I am covered until March of 2015. I can probably expect it to blow up altogether in April of 2015 rofl!

We also purchase the extended warrantiesm We just bought a new refrigerator and oaid $399 for the 5 year extended warranty on it.

Plus, with this plan, you have a preventatine maintainance plan where the tech comes in once a year and checks it all out an cleans the coils etc.

These extended warranties are well worth th extra money.
